    One of the best discussions I had w/ my students generated these questions:

    At what point does a story become global?
    How do we deal with a white American visually describing an Indian text? (she uses 1920s blues music as Sita's voice/ she uses the voices of her Indian friends to create a voice for the story)
    Does this process represent a form of cultural colonialism?
