Haqeeqat (1964) --

Should be available on Netflix
Many of the people involved in the making of the film -- director, screenplay writer, dialogue writer, lyricist, and some of the cast -- were all luminaries on the cultural left in India -- socialists, and some were officially members of the Communist Party of India
The film can be seen as an expression of the Indian left's disillusionment with the Chinese regime. It's also perhaps the most powerful anti-war film in Hindi cinema.
